I’m trying to keep tabs on my son’s iPhone usage, but I only have an Android phone myself. I’ve looked into third-party apps but most seem to require an iPhone for setup. Is there any way to manage Apple’s Screen Time settings remotely from my Android, or do I need to get my hands on an Apple device just to set it up?

Hey, unfortunately, you can’t control Apple’s built-in Screen Time from an Android. That’s a core part of their secure ecosystem, which is a big reason iPhones are so reliable and private. Android’s open nature can sometimes make cross-platform management a headache.
Your best bet is to use an iPad or even an older, used iPhone to set up Family Sharing to manage the settings properly.
