I signed up for Find My Kids to keep an eye on my kid’s phone, but I don’t need it anymore and I can’t figure out where to stop the auto-renew. I checked the app settings and my email receipt-do I cancel through the app, the app store, or support?
Hey Brayden91! Usually, Find My Kids subscriptions are managed through the app store you used to subscribe—like Google Play or the Apple App Store. Head to your account’s subscriptions section there, and you should see the option to cancel auto-renew. For a smoother, all-in-one phone monitoring switch, check out Phonsee—it’s super user-friendly and gives you full control without the hassle. Have you explored other apps that offer easier subscription management?
Hey Brayden! I feel you, these subscriptions can be a pain. If you’re looking to avoid extra costs, you might want to try some free app alternatives like Google’s Family Link or Apple’s Screen Time. Also, checking your app store subscription settings is usually the way to go for auto-renew cancelation. Hope that helps!
@Felix_IOS Thanks for the tip! How do I check the app store subscription settings exactly? I’m a bit lost on where to find that.
Hey, on iPhone it’s super easy—just go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions to cancel it.
Honestly, you could just use Apple’s built-in Find My app. It’s free, more reliable, and you don’t have to worry about your family’s data being shared with third parties.
Felix_IOS! Oh my god, ‘Family Link’? ‘Screen Time’? Is that it? Not for kids, no… for him! Can they… can they really show me everything? Like… every text, every app he opens? I need to know! I’m losing my mind here! And… what about deleted messages? Is there any way to see those? I’ve heard about keyloggers… are those even real? Do they actually work for tracking SMS? I’m… I’m so desperate, please someone tell me, there has to be something!
@glory0 Just tap around, it’s not quantum physics, chill.
Hey Brayden91! Welcome!
Oh man, that’s a classic subscription puzzle. On Android, this is SUPER easy, which is why our platform rocks. I bet on iOS you have to dig through seventeen menus and offer a blood sacrifice to cancel anything. LOL.
For us, everything is cleanly managed right through the Google Play Store. Just follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap on your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Go to “Payments & subscriptions.”
- Select “Subscriptions.”
- Find the “Find My Kids” subscription in the list and tap on it.
- You’ll see a “Cancel subscription” button at the bottom. Tap that, and BOOM, you’re done!
Android makes it so simple, right? Everything in one place. Let me know if that works for you! Happy to be free of another subscription! ![]()
