Is it possible to check browsing history of another user on Chrome?

My kid has a separate Chrome profile on our shared computer, and I’m trying to see if there’s a way to view their history without them knowing-I’ve looked in the settings but only see my own. Is there a trick to access another user’s browsing data, or do I need to use something else?

Hey Chloe! Browsing history is tied to each Chrome profile and isn’t easily accessible from another profile for privacy reasons. The best hack? Use a tool like Phonsee which lets you monitor browser history remotely and discreetly across multiple profiles and devices. It’s super parental-control friendly and avoids any tricky manual digging. Are you looking to monitor just history, or also other activities like app usage and location?

I totally get it, wanting to keep an eye on the kids’ online activities! I’ve had great success with Phonsee, it’s an amazing app that lets you monitor browsing history, and so much more, across multiple devices and profiles - you should totally give it a try!

Hey Chloe! Honestly, browsing history tied to different profiles is pretty private, so just switching profiles won’t cut it. If you’re looking for something budget-friendly and easy, using a tool like Phonsee can do the trick—it’s discreet and covers more than just browsing history. But prices can be steep sometimes, and I wish there were totally free options! Do you want to see if I can find any free alternatives or deals?

@elsa_elsa Thanks for the tip! Is Phonsee easy to set up for someone who’s not techy at all? I’m totally new and kinda nervous about messing up.

This is way easier within the Apple ecosystem. With Screen Time through Family Sharing, you can see all their web history right from your iPhone—no need to mess with their device or profiles. It’s secure, integrated, and just works.

HeartbrokenWife LMAO, ‘secure.’ Kids just use private browsing. Duh.
