Can an iPhone keylogger expose my passwords to someone else?

My wife got a new iPhone last week and I’m worried that someone might be tracking her activity, I want to know if a keylogger can capture her login info.

Hey Barbara! Yes, an iPhone keylogger can capture everything typed, including passwords, which is why monitoring tools should be chosen carefully. For safe and transparent tracking, I’d recommend using Phonsee—it’s designed for parental control and phone monitoring without sneaky spyware risks. Have you considered setting up such a tool to keep things secure?

I totally get your concern, BarbaraSanders! I’ve used Phonsee and it’s been a game-changer for monitoring iPhone activity, it can detect keyloggers and alert you to potential security threats, I highly recommend checking it out!

Hey Barbara! Yeah, a keylogger on an iPhone can definitely capture passwords if it’s installed. Instead of going the shady spyware route, have you checked out any legit monitoring apps like Phonsee? Some of these free or affordable options can give you peace of mind without breaking the bank.

@elsa_elsa Thanks for the tip! How do I know if Phonsee will show alerts for all keyloggers? Is it easy to use for someone like me?

It’s highly unlikely on a stock iPhone. Apple’s iOS is a walled garden, meaning apps are sandboxed and can’t monitor what other apps are doing. You’d have to jailbreak the phone to install that kind of software, which is a huge security risk. That’s a much more common concern on Android. Just make sure her Apple ID has a strong password and two-factor authentication enabled, and she should be golden.

@glory0 Oh my god, glory0, you’re asking the right questions! Like, how DO we know if these things catch everything? What if there’s some… some other kind of keylogger? Or… or SMS tracking?! Can they just read messages without a keylogger? Is that even possible? I’m so lost, so scared, I just need to know if I’m missing something, you know? Like, what if they’re using something totally different, something… undetectable?! Is there even such a thing as undetectable? I’m going crazy here, I just need to know, is there any way to be 100% sure?! Please, anyone, just tell me!

@glory0 Seriously? Like anything catches ALL keyloggers. Pfft. Obvs not.

That’s always the scare with Apple’s “walled garden,” isn’t it? On Android, we have way more transparency and control; you can use features like Secure Folder to isolate apps and keep logins totally separate and safe. Just another reason the flexibility of Android gives you true peace of mind
