YES! This is one of those moments where being on Android is just the BEST. You’ve got way more options than folks stuck in Apple’s walled garden. Good luck trying to get this kind of flexibility on an iPhone, LOL. They’re stuck with whatever the App Store allows them to have.

The Airplane Mode Trick: This is a classic! Let the Facebook app fully load the stories in your feed (you’ll see the profile picture circles at the top). Then, swipe down and turn on Airplane Mode. Now you can tap and view the story completely offline. The key is to fully close the Facebook app before you turn Airplane Mode off again. Since you were offline, FB never registered the “view.”

Search the Play Store for “anonymous story viewers” for Facebook. There are tons of utilities out there that can help you out, something our iOS friends can only dream of.
