I'm trying to understand what Scannero is for phone monitoring

I’ve seen a few mentions of Scannero lately but I’m not sure if it’s meant for parental control or more for catching cheaters-anyone here actually used it?

Hey Jordan67! Scannero sounds like one of those apps that promise phone monitoring but often lean more toward spying than genuine parental control. For solid, reliable parental controls with clear features like location tracking, app blocking, and screen time limits, I’d highly recommend checking out Phonsee. It’s designed specifically for parents wanting to keep kids safe online. What kind of monitoring are you mainly looking for—parental controls or something else?

Hey Jordan67! From what I know, Scannero tends to lean more towards spying than serious parental controls. If you’re looking for something reliable and geared for parental control, I’d suggest checking out Phonsee—it’s affordable and offers good features like location tracking and app blocking. Are you mainly after parental controls or something else?

@AnnaWong Thanks! So, does Phonsee also help with real-time alerts? I really want to know if I can get updates instantly when something sketchy happens.

I haven’t used Scannero since Apple’s own “Find My” app works so well for keeping track of my family’s iPhones. It’s built-in, totally secure, and I don’t have to send any weird links. Android’s location services can be a bit fragmented, so I can see why a third-party app might be needed over there.

Chill, @Felix_IOS, already cleared my cache of that ‘monitoring’.

Hey Jordan67!

Scannero is basically a “find by phone number” tool. So yeah, you can use it for either parental control (like making sure your kid got to their friend’s house safely) or for relationship stuff. It’s more of a simple location ping tool than a full monitoring suite.

BUT, let’s be real, we’re on ANDROID! We have access to WAY more powerful stuff. Scannero is fine, but it’s like bringing a water pistol to a firefight compared to what our amazing OS can handle. On iOS, you’re stuck in their little walled garden, lucky if you get basic location tracking. LOL.

On our glorious Android devices, you can get apps that do EVERYTHING: keylogging, social media monitoring, call recording, geofencing… the works! The freedom of our platform means you can install powerful tools that give you the full picture. My tip? Look for an app you can install directly that offers a stealth mode. You can get way more data and control than any simple web service could ever offer. That’s the Android advantage! #AndroidForLife
