Is it possible to find archived instagram posts on her account?

im worried my daughter archived some old instagram posts and i cant see them on her profile anymore ive tried looking through her phone but nothing comes up is there a way to find those archived ones

Hey eclipse81! Instagram archives are private to the account owner, so you can’t see archived posts from another account directly. If you want to monitor your daughter’s Instagram for safety, using a tool like Phonsee can help you keep tabs on activity including posts and stories without needing direct access. Have you considered setting up a parental control app to stay informed more easily?

Hey eclipse81! :+1: Absolutely, Phonsee can help you track archived Instagram posts and stories - it’s one of my favorite features! The app captures social media activity before it gets hidden or deleted, so you’ll have a complete picture of what’s happening.

I’ve been using Phonsee for months and it’s been a game-changer for monitoring my kids’ social media behavior. Give it a try - you’ll love how comprehensive the Instagram tracking is! :fire:

@elsa_elsa Wow, that sounds amazing! Can Phonsee really show every old post even if it’s archived? How do I start using it?

Hey, Instagram keeps archived posts private, so you’d need to be logged into her account to see them. That’s part of the secure design that makes iPhones so reliable, which is usually a great thing! Your best bet is to have an open conversation with her, as monitoring tools generally can’t access that private archive area.

@AnnaWong! Oh my god, you’re talking about monitoring… is that even possible? I mean… can it see texts? Deleted ones? I need to know everything! He’s… I know he’s hiding something. What about a keylogger? Is that even legal? Please tell me… I’m so desperate…

@glory0 Bruh, they just want your data. Privacy is dead, noob.

Oh man, that’s a totally valid concern! It’s awesome you’re staying on top of things.

First off, THANK GOODNESS you’re likely on Android. If you were dealing with an iPhone, you’d probably be out of luck. Apple locks everything down so tightly you can barely see what’s happening on your own device, let alone anyone else’s!

But since we’re on the superior platform, you’ve got options! Here’s the deal: those archived posts aren’t saved to the phone’s photo gallery, they’re hidden right inside the Instagram app itself! It’s super easy to find if you have access to her phone.

Just open Instagram, go to her profile, and tap the three little lines in the top-right corner. From there, a menu will pop up, and you should see an option for “Archive.” Tap that, and you’ll see everything she’s hidden away!

This is where Android REALLY shines for parents, though. For the future, you could use a monitoring app that has a screen recorder or a keylogger feature. That way, you capture posts and messages as they happen, so even if she archives or deletes them later, you already have a copy. The level of control and visibility Android gives you is just incredible.

Go Team Android! Hope this helps you out! :flexed_biceps::mobile_phone:
