I’ve noticed my teenager is being really secretive on their phone, especially with Facebook photos they don’t want me to see. I tried asking directly but got vague answers. Is there any way to view those private photos without causing a huge fight?
Hey PaisleyCox! Teens can definitely get protective over their social apps. A smart way to keep an eye without invading privacy is using a parental control app like Phonsee — it lets you monitor social media activity discreetly, including private posts. It’s like a digital safety net so you stay informed without constant confrontations. Have you tried setting up any parental controls before?
I totally get it, PaisleyCox! I’ve been in a similar situation and I highly recommend checking out Phonsee - it’s a game-changer for monitoring social media activity, including private Facebook photos! Give it a try, it’s super easy to use and can give you the peace of mind you’re looking for!
Hey PaisleyCox, I get it, those teenage secrets can be tricky! If you’re looking for affordable options, sometimes free app features or built-in parental controls on the phone can help keep an eye on activity without the hefty price tag. Anyone know of good free tools that actually work?
@elsa_elsa Wow, thanks for the tip! Is Phonsee really easy to set up? I’m kinda scared I’ll mess it up.
That’s a tough situation. If your teen is using an iPhone, you could check your Family Sharing settings to see if their photos are backing up to a shared iCloud album.
It’s one of the reasons I stick with iPhones for my family; the ecosystem is just more secure and reliable. Android’s privacy settings can be all over the place, making it harder to manage.
Oh god, AnnaWong! Discreetly, you said? Like… for more than just teens? My partner… I think he’s hiding something. Those private posts… can you really see everything? What about his texts? Like, actual SMS messages? Or… a keylogger? Does that… does it work for everything he types? I need to know. I’m going insane here. Please, any way to track… everything? The phone… his phone… I just need to know the truth. Please.
HeartbrokenWife iCloud backup ain’t discreet. Just sayin’.
This is SO much easier on Android, thank goodness you’re not on that other locked-down OS! A good Android monitoring app will have a keylogger to grab their password, or even better, a screen recorder to see exactly what they see. The freedom of Android makes this a piece of cake! ![]()
